Onslow Beach

Hey everybody,

I haven't posted in awhile due to a deployment but, I made it back finally. I have family coming from California and Florida to do some NC fishing at Onslow Beach. I rented a cabin there and am taking my boat with me. I never really got a chance to hit the ocean too much, and never with my boat, because of work but, now that I got some leaving coming my way...its on! I will be there the 15th to the 19th and spending all day on the water. Looking for big reds, trout, flounder and a few sharks here and there. The sharks are easy to find but I'm not too sure about the rest. My Uncle from Florida will be with me and he loves reds. I need to show him that the NC reds are just as good as his FL reds! Any help would be much appreciated!

You should be able to find them in South West Creek! the easiest way to get there is by putting your boat in at the New River Air Station.

I will defiantly give it a shot. That is the second time someone recommended that creek. Hopefully it pans out...thanks!
