Surf Fishing Workshop
Fall is just around the corner and that means giant redfish in the surf. FAAN member, Bobby Parker will present information on where to go , surf fishing equipment, and instruction on how to cast those big surf rods. There will also be a demostration on how to make a pendulumn cast. After the brief instruction and demonstration, participants will have the opportunity to see how far that they can chunk 5 ounces of weight across the ponds. We will have surf rods available to try and if you have never used a surf rod this will be your chance to give one of 11, 13, or 14 foot models a go.
You can PM, email, or give me call @ 868-5003 ext.15 to register for this event.

Surf Fishing Workshop
For all you folks who have been to the surf and thought about what rod/reel to use or how to fish the one they have, then come to this workshop!
There will be rods from 7 to 13 feet, both conventional and spinning, for you to learn the basics of surf casting, or improve your casting skills. The focus of the workshop is to put a rod in your hands and successfully lob or cast weight and bait in the surf!
Twenty to thirty minutes will cover the set up of a surf rod with shock leader and bottom rigs, and remainder of the time will be spent casting. If you have ever wondered what it like to cast 300 to 400 feet this is your opportunity!
