FAAN Spring Crappie Fishing Trip

First topic message reminder :

We will hold our annual Spring Fishing Get Together on April 16th at Lake Jordan. Join the FAAN for a day crappie fishing. Volunteer boaters will assit non-boaters with a ride and opportunity to catch some slab sides , all while enjoying the company of fellow FAAN members. Robert Harber (Hemi) will act as this year's event coordinator. Please, let him know if you are interested in participating.

I agree, Tom. If the weather stays on track with what they're calling for, it'll be ugly I'd imagine.

As much as I want to fish this , I really don't want to be out in the thunder storms. I think a reschedule would be wise.

i am hoping the weather report is going to change by the weekend! but i would say that if it still looks like it is going to rain cats and dogs then we should re-schedule the trip! how does Sundays weather look?

Sunday looks really good ....But I can't make it on Sunday will be in Waynesboro Virginia. So you'll have cover my anglers if that is the day you go with. I am good with the next Saturday the 23rd ,but that is also the shad festival.

I'm afraid that I would be out for Sunday as well. Got homework and studies to take of. I don't mind a little rain, but the severity of Saturday's forecast makes the trip unsafe and I don't like lightning or swimming. I think it would be wise to save it for another day. I have considered going our for shad, next weekend.

I wasn't on the list when I looked the other day. Can you put me on it? I would felt bad meeting y'all at 5:30 and not having a boat spot. Lol.

This weekend is out for me. Still have lots of cleanup from the tornado. I may make it to a lake for an hour or so but can't really justify taking this trip. Catch em up for me.

Ok Folks looks like the weather is going to be on our side for Saturday. This is what I am looking at :Weather Underground

As you can see it calls for a chance of am showers so I went ahead and put the Bimini back on the boat. Also the winds are looking to be at 5-7 mph, should be perfect.
Looking forward to this , hope everyone can make it.
