America's Boating Course Offered

ABC-3 is acomprehensive boat safety course that will prepare you to the waters on NC with knowledge and skills needed on all of our waterways from rivers, to lakes, to coastal boating.

For the first time, the FSPS will offer a day on the water for some On-the-Water Training with hands on training in trailering skills, navigation, vessel safety checks, and boat safety information you might need. Place is to be determined by interest.

Examination June 6th- Critique and Information about the United States Power Squadron

Certificates and wallet cards are earned with a passing grade.

I have been doing the home course for the insurance discount. Think attend would offer more value. Anyone else going?

I'll be there. There much more to be learned in these course than can be gained from the online course. The folks from the FSPS are very seasoned and knowledgeable navigators and mariners. They offer a wealth of knowledge that everyone who takes to the water should take advantage. This course can be very beneficial for those who operate unpowered vessels, as well. Safety is imperative for those operators, as most drownings occur from vessels under 16ft.

I like this idea. I've been wanting to find a classroom led ABC course for a while and this seems to fit the bill.
