Has anyone had the chance to fish Lowry's fish farm yet? I have been keeping up with there facebook page and there has been alot of posting about the crappie and catifsh really biting in there ponds! When i get back in town i am going to plan a day out on the water fishing at Lowry's Fish Farm. You can fish from a John boat, kayak or bank fish. It is 10 dollars to fish the day and they sell year long memberships. They also sell bait. Let me know if anyone wants to join me and we will come up with a date! Here is there website:

Looks good Rob , I would like to give it a shot. I like the fact that they sell season memberships, thats what I have been looking for. We need to hit this place with the yaks.
Sounds like a good place to get that new Jackson wet. Smile
Looking at the FaceBook page , I really like the size of the Gills and crappie.
So if I get a cow to take a fly can I keep it or do I have to throw it back? Laughing
I wouldn't mind do a release to the freezer Laughing

You can use live and artificial bait in the ponds. I will set a date later on this week.

Sounds like a great place to take kids to, but of course we need to test it out first. Anyone thinkin of taking a fly rod out there or just light tackle.

Savage I will be taking a fly rod and my yak. I agree it does sound like a great place to take the kids. I think we should try to find a date that everyone could make it, and give it a shot. It got to be better than a stick in the eye lol!

They owner of Lowery's told me there are no limits on the fish you catch! Anything you catch you can keep! As for the dates to hit the water i am thinking about the 19th or the 20th? Let me know what you guys think! I may also try to get out there during the week sometime before that weekend!
