Help with local Fishing Spots
Hey guys, I was asked to help compile a list of public access fishing areas in Cumberland County. This list will be used to help direct incoming soldiers and vistors to Cumberland County to the local places where they might enjoy the pastime. So that I don't forget anyhthing and as help to folks who maybe looking for info on our site, please post up those areas that you are aware of. Please, include any contact info, additional fees, and restrictions that may be pertinent.

It may help also to add the link to Ft Bragg's fishing lakes and such. Also all the know river ramps around Fayetteville, and surrounding area and any lakes know to others.
Some of the ones I use to fish are not there anymore, forgot most of them. Its been 21 years since I retired and left Rockfish area.

There is Rhodes Pond and Lake Rim operated by wildlife and game. There is also Mazerick Park off of Bragg Boulevard. You have to go to the entrance past the elementary school to get to Glanville Lake. There is a pier and you can rent a jon boat for various amounts of time. Cannot launch your own but you can bring your own trolling motor. Link to the sitehttp://www.fcpr.us/outdoor_programs/mazarick_park.aspx
