North Carolina Angler Recognition Program

The NCARP is a NCWRC program that recognizes angler success for trophy sized catches that meet minimum length and weight requirements. I am aware of a couple of members that have been awarded citations under this program and we have added a Special User Award that now appears in the user information of their post. If you have been received such an award and would also like to be recognized in this forum, please let us now.

I have been thinking about shad patterns lately and stated looking real close at the colorization of different shad species. Painting some baits for practice

I received some unpainted crankbait bodies a couple of weeks ago and we have been in the process of building lure dryers and preparing everything to get ready to paint. So, with a few hours of cool tempetures in the mornings, I decided to pratice on a few lures.
