Rhodes Pond Status

I see that the water level is up, water over the damn and there are some boats out fishing. Anyone have a report. Catching what, on what and where? How about ole man gator, any sightings?

Was out there last Thursday and it was tough. Until around dusk. The water got like a big piece of ice and I caught a few decent sized bream on a spider on my fly rod. Had something absolutely massive swim up towards a gurgler I had on the end of the line when I switched over to that. It decided not to go for the fly but the wake it made when it changed it's mind was huge. Did not see the fish as the water was stained and it was at the end of my cast. Just saw the swirl of the water under the fly as it turned around.
