How's it looking has anyone been up there recently? Any advice? I know it's cold but I have the itch and need to get out and fish!

Rhodes is a tough place to fish. But this time of year is great time to float some minnows and catch some decent sized cats. I have caught them from the point where the observation deck is located. Will be going up there more often once I get back over to north Fayetteville.

Give a shout when you want to hit Rhodes pond I really like to paddle there. I bet you could find crappie around the dam with minnows. DO you have a canoe or yak rab22? its a good place to fish from the yaks.

I wish I'm currently saving up for one. Was out there today from the bank, got one small bass nothing special. Still had a great time regardless!

Meant to say that you can catch nice black crappie out of there. I love the place. It's a tough place to fish but it can be fun. Love the way the whole place gets like a large piece of ice most nights right around dark. Very beautiful location too.

It is super nice, I've been out twice not much luck, none the less love it. I live in North Fay so it is a short trip for me. Can't wait for it too warm up a little.

I own a house in North Fay and teach at Pine Forest High. I will be moving back over to there by the end of summer. Look forward to seeing you out and about.

I live right near Pine Forest on Dunblane its the development I believe called stonehaven or some sort?
