NOAA Seeks Comments on a Proposed Rule to Establish a Rebuilding Plan for Red Grouper in the South Atlantic - the public comment period ends April 30, 2012
Amendment 24 would establish a rebuilding plan for red grouper in the South Atlantic. Actions proposed in the amendment include: implementation of Annual Catch Limits (ACLs) and Accountability Measures (AMs) for the commercial and recreational sectors; elimination of the aggregate ACLs and AMs currently in place for black grouper, red grouper and gag; and other measures.
NOAA Fisheries Service Seeks Public Comment on the Proposed Rule for Amendment 20A to the Fishery Management Plan for the Snapper-Grouper Fishery of the South Atlantic Region - the public comment period ends April 30, 2012
Amendment 20A addresses the commercial sector of the wreckfish fishery, managed under an individual transferable quota (ITQ) system.
