Went to Boundary Line on Fort Bragg after work. Was just hoping to see how some new flies looked in the water. Had no hopes when I got there. No one was even getting a bite. Right at dusk I got some excitement. I need to tie up some more of these as they loved it so much. Lost the fly on the final bass (not pictured) it swallowed it to far in. Top water fun action in February???? Really cool.

Way to Go Bobby, it is great to catch'em on a fly you tie. I got to get out to Boundary Line Soon. Maybe meet you out there some afternoon.

Sounds good Ed.

The fly i caught it on I can actually thank you for. Was on that Warm water fly fisherman site you posted up a few weeks ago. I just have no mylar to put over the foam I wrapped so I use sparkles. The fish didn't mind the difference.

Well here it is. This is the fly that caught them up. Don't look like much but they liked it.

Probably the Mylar would make it look much better. But hey I'll take a good fish on an ugly fly. Lol

That fly made me laugh out loud. Way funny. Love the gooogley eye. I think crazy baits like that are awesome. I remember even in the soft plastics making class my 3 yr old daughter created the most bright magenta pink worm which I thought would never work but ended up catching a great bass in the ponds. Keep up the good work and I appreciate seeing your fishing success.
