Orvis Clearwater Rod & Reel

I stopped by Bayless Bait & Tackle, yesterday, to drop off some flyers for the upcoming Fly Tying clinic and they showed me an Orvis Clearwater Rod and Reel that they had taken in on trade. It's a 5wt , 7'9" rod with a made in England reel and line. It needs some backing. The rod would sell new for around $180 and a comparable reel is going for around $25 on Ebay. The reel is click and pawl and is not one of their better reels, but the parts inside make it considerably better than their current Chinese offerings in the Clearwater line. They're looking for $100 for the whole kit. Nice Folks . Stop by and pay them a visit.
