Reel In some fun at the 2013 FAAN Christmas Party!!

Come out and celebrate the Christmas season with your friends of the Fayetteville Anglers' Network while sharing your 2013 fishing memories and make new plans for fishing in 2014.

Dinner is pot luck and we always look forward to the venison, wild game, and fish that the FAAN membership provide. Sides and desserts are also greatly enjoyed. There will be a thread regarding the party where you can see what others are bringing to ensure a variety of dishes to enjoy.

The White Elephant Gift Exchange will begin at 8:30pm and participation is voluntary. Should you wish to participate bring a gift of up to 20 dollars value to place under the tree. Participants will draw numbers at the beginning of the game. The first person will select a gift from under the tree which begins the game. The second person will have choice to steal the first person's gift or select one from under the tree. Each subsequent person will then have the choice of stealing a gift from another person or selecting from under the tree. Once a gift has been stolen three times it will be considered out of play. Once everyone has a gift, then the first person will have the may steal any gift that is still in play. This game ptovides the opportunity for fun and laughs, so creativity and humor are greatly appreciated in the choices of gifts.

Additionally, we compile a collection of fishing photos from the members to create a slideshow to view during the party. Please, forward any of your 2013 fishing photos that you wish to include to t.carpenter@fayettevilleanglers.com

Glad to hear one of my favorite events of the year will occur. Myself and the wife will be there.

Heather and I will be there.  Not sure yet what goodies we'll bring yet, so I'll wait to see what other folks are doing and adapt as necessary

Again, it is a gracious gesture for Keith and Jeanette to host our party. I am looking forward to seeing you all there. I'll bring a Honey Baked Ham.

Susanna & I plan to be there, Friday eve, after helping the trout set up housekeeping in their new, Pechmann Center, homes.

Bringin' Homemade Apple Nut Cake, Goodies for the "Snatch & Grab" event & my Git-Fiddle -- presuming others will be willin' to sing...

Wife and I both had a good time.  Really enjoyed it

Had a blast as always. Good to see everyone and catch up. Thank you to everyone for not bashing my wife's hopes on the present.
