Hey guys i am currently working at Camp Ripley, Minnesota and before work and on my lunch breaks i try to find some time to wet a line! Well lucky for me that the upper Mississippi River runs right through post. I bought a fishing rod and some light weight fishing tackle to try my luck. This morning i landed my first ever smallmouth bass on a Rattle-trap. I am hoping i get some time off right at the end of my trip here to do some walleye fishing. here are my pic:Fishing the Upper Mississippi River 254080_1996687487657_1557579453_2073857_1645163_n

Thats a solid smallmouth! Great that you are able to get some fishing done. Only smallmouth I have ever caught was when I was like 7. Its about time to get another one. Ha. Keep up the pictures its cool to see what others are catching.
