The Man who changed Fly Fishing Forever

I received my issue of Fly Fishing in Saltwaters over the weekend and opened it up to find an article of about Ted Juracsik of Tibor reels. I'm going to recommend that you read about Ted not just because his company makes arguably the best fly reel on the market, but because his story is an American story of what this country used to mean to the world. Not only is Ted the talent behind the development of Tibor reels but he also made the Billy Pate Saltwater Reels. These contributions are that of partisan fighter who stood against the communist secret police after WW2 in Hungary, then immigrated to America to live in a refugee camp with no money and without being able to speak English. I think that it is a great success story that is born out of tragedy and tyranny. Here are a couple of links to stories about this great product of America.
