My BWS Tournament Results
The second Bassmaster Weekend Series NC Division Tournament is in the books. I ended the day 14th with one fish weighing in at 3.40 pounds which missed Co-Angler Big Bass Honors by 0.10 pounds. All in all it was a good day, better than my previous goose eggs. It would have been better had I been able to establish a pattern but, that didn't happen.
The fish was caught on a Strike King Lure Company square bill in Clear Ghost Sexy Shad. My Wright & McGill Skeet Reese S-Glass crankbait rod paired with an Abu Garcia Pro Max spooled with Spiderwire EZ Fluoro performed great!
Next up is Lake Norman on the 29th of June. I can't wait!
Did I mention that I'm currently 12th in points with 287, after 2 events? There are still 2 more one-day qualifiers before the two-day Divisional Championship.
I copied this from my fan page therefore, the links may not work.

Re: My BWS Tournament Results
Thanks guys! This one restored my confidence a little bit. I'm sure that I'll do better as I am more of a summer fisherman. That's if the weather ever straightens up and acts right.
Re: My BWS Tournament Results
I fished the 3rd tournament of the BWS NC Div. season on June 29. The weather made a turn for the worst the night before which made the bass more lethargic than usual for this time of year. Sad to say, I ended the day in 35th with no fish. It was mostly my fault as I lost concentration and failed to execute properly. Had I not, I may have landed fish on most, if not all, of the 5 bites that I did have throughout the day.
I'll be taking the next one, Lake Wylie, off to go to my daughters' National Cheerleading Championship in Virginia Beach, Va. I can't be in both places the same day and I know my mind will be in Virgina anyway. I just hope that I have enough points to stay in the top 40. I have fallen 5 places to 17th. I think that I'll be alright to make the regionals.
