High Rock Lake: A Bad Start to the 2013 Bassmaster Weekend Series Season

Water Clarity: maybe 6 inches, it was muddy
Water temp: 55*
Morning Low: 33*
Afternoon High: 67*
Windchill at 80 mph: I don't want to know. Especially at 7:00 am.
Type of day: Not too good

Back home after a horrible day at High Rock Lake. I ended the day in a 28-way tie for 8th, aka dead last, with no fish. Out of 35 co-anglers only 6 caught fish and of those, only 1 caught a 3-fish limit. It was crazy!
Now I just need to put the goose-egg behind me and get ready for Kerr Lake on the 25th of May. The good thing about goose-eggs? I can't do any worse!
Sadly, the goose-eggs won't help when I become a ranked angler after Lake Norman in June. I just got to keep digging and remain confident in my skills as a bass angler.
Thanks to Steve Addington, today's boater, for a great time on the water. I hope to fish with you again sometime. Thanks to my family and fans for your well wishes and support.

Sorry that you didn't have better luck. How big was your boater's bag? There could be some relevance.
