Never have been a fan of social networking, but I can not deny the benefits of meeting people who share my passions.
I've always fished from shore or a friend's boat, but two weeks ago I purchased a Sprint bass boat, and was looking for information as to whether or not I could put it in at Mott Lake (was unsure because of the yamaha gas guzzler on the back). Google pointed me to this forum.
So here I am.

Welcome to the site....I belive that Mott Lake is still a unlimited motor size fishing lake. I used to run my 140hp out there and the last time I kayaked there were boats running motors there . To be safe check with Ft Bragg Hunt and fish center across from Mckellars.
I just checked the regs they say "there is no restriction of motor size on McArthur, Mott, and Big Muddylakes"
Here is the Ft Bragg Regulations Link

Once again welcome to the site and good luck out there.

Welcome to the forum and good fishing. On some of the other bigger lakes youshould be able trim up the gas motor and just use the trolling motor, again check with the Game Warden station to be sure.
