Hi guys/gals, I;m new to the forum but not to FAAN. I am a long distance member from Kenansville, NC. I have made the fall fishing trips for the past 2 years with FAAN and anticipate to be there again this year.

I love to fish the salt and river systems for red drum, speckled trout and flounder. I like fish with regular rod an reels and fly fishing tackle, I also tie my own flies.

Hope to see ya on the water.

New Member Empty Flounder by Fly??

Post  Mike Davis Tue Aug 31, 2010 10:57 pm

Hey Scott-

Good to see you here...hope to see you at Ft. Fisher.

I'm new to North Carolina, FAAN and fly fishing. You mentioned flounder and that you tie. Flounder is a favorite and I'm learning to tie. Any suggestions on what I might tie up for our trip to the coast that would stand a chance of helping me fill a skillet with a nice flounder?
