Lake upchurch report 5-26

Got on the water at 8, missed the top water bite. ( at least for me) fished till 2:00 and called it a day. I caught 11, biggest was 2.5. All the rest were 1-2lbs. I stuck with a crankbait that was running about 6-8 feet around docks and points with grass. I have still yet to catch a 5lb+ out there. Most of the fish I caught were opposite side of the dam, where the grass was. A few were on main lake near docks. I don't have a depth finder and am sure I would do better if I could find some areas close to the creek channel etc. looks like a portable depth finder is in the future.
