Crappie Report for Shearon Harris Mar 11th, 2012

Fished Harris from 11am until 6pm with some limited sucess. The crappie seemed to be scattered all over the place and we cauIght them from 2ft to 20ft deep. tried presenting minnows both trolling and under floats at known sprint time hideouts. Manged to bring home 6 keepers for our new member, Charles Henderson to fry up. Weather was sunny with a high of 62 degrees and and east wind at 3mph gusting to 9mph. Water temps are 56 degrees in the main lake channels, but temps in the back of the creeks are rising as high as 62 degrees in the afternoons. Though the day was light on the fish activity the company of Ed Mathis and Charles Henderson made for a very enjoyable day. Thanks guys.

Could not have had a better run after the crappie in transition than we had on Sunday. Great trip with you and Ed, I've definitely made two friends for life, hope we can get after them again soon.
