Cape Fear Bass?

I've read some isolated reports on folks bass fishing Cape Fear but i'm not sure yet to take my boat out there. Was hoping to find some insight from you guys. I know of two local boat ramps:

With that nice boat I would be heading to Sharon Harris and Jordan without a doubt. Shoot I would be more then willing to take up some deck space and throw in some gas money. I fish at least 1 day on the weekend usually out of my kayak since I do not own a bass boat. Do have a 25' Steiger Craft for use on the Chesapeake Bay but that is a weekend trip at the least. But ya Sharon Harris is fantastic. Love it there.

This weekend I am off to the Chesapeake to see the parents. Otherwise would be all over that offer! Really want to get out there. Thanks though!
