Harris 3-18-2011

Bobby Parker and I went up to Harris Lake yesterday morning. We got Bobby's boat in the water just as the sun came up. We head down the lake to a couple of spots Bobby had mark before. It was a wee bit chilling on this St Patric's Day Morn. The fishing was slow , and when we caught fish it was one at a time with a little wait in between. We ended up with 8 or so keepers. They were all nice size fish for Harris. Bobby caught a small Flat head cat, and I caught a small bass. All in all it was a really good day , the weather was great sun shine in the upper 60s . Hardly any wind and the water was about 53 F most places. I don't know what was up though. There were a lot of boats around us all day, and when got back to the ramp, about 1400, the parking lot was over flowing. Strange for a Thursday I thought.

Thanks for writing the report, Eddie. We had a good time! The crappie had some size to them, and we even saw an eagle. There sure were a lot of folks celebrating Saint Pattie's Day fishing on the water!
