Favorite Salt Water Fly Fishing Target Species

Found a pretty good article about getting started in salt water fly fishing. So that made think about the types of fish available in NC's inshore and near shore waters. Salt Water Fly Fishing Which is your Favorite?

I've never tried fly fishin' for flounder. In fact, I'm so new to fly fishin' that I've only flipped a few flies into the ponds at the Pechman Center, on Wounded Warrior Wendsdays.

With flounder being, mainly, bottom-feeders, I wouldn't even know how to start: what kind[s] of fly[ies]; how to fish them, etc... Heck, I don't even know if fly fishin' & flounder are 'compatible' -- it's just that flounder is one of my favorite salt water fish for eatin' and I'm really enjoying learning to flip flies, I'm hopeful that the two might be combined.

Any input from those w/experience getting flounder on flies would be appreciated.

I posted an answer to yours about flounder on the fly. Lots are caught on the fly....

I've even seen flounder jump slam out of the water chasing bait...so a topwater is not out of the question.

Hey Keith- At the top of the page you should see a series of responses and beside each is a small circle button. If you move your cursor over then the circle will fill with blue. Once your choice is highlighted, you can select your choice by left clicking. You can then submit your vote by clicking on that button beneath the poll choices

Eddie those circles are no longer there....you may need to check on it..

In order to avoid having people vote multiple times, once you have voted you will no longer be able to view the circles (Poll Options). At that point only the current poll results will be visible at the top of the page.

Can't figure that out. All the settings appear to correct and the other polls seem to be fine from my end.
