Anchor System Videos
Here is the video I told you about Chris, there are three in the series, I am using this system now. I have ordered the trip clip when it comes I will stop using the zip ties, I have had three of them break off in the driveway.
Re: Anchor System Videos
I've seen real similar setups before. Looks real interesting too. I might look in to this. Although so far, I've never found myself attached to a fish large enough to warrant a quick-release from the anchor

I have my system all set up and will post pictures as soon as I get them taken
Re: Anchor System Videos
OK here are the pictures of my Anchor:
This it stowed in the top of my crate
Here it deployed
This show the way the release clip in attached to the anchor chain
Here is my ski float and the divers reel I am using. The line to the anchor trolley is just looped around the float so it will slide off when released.
This is the attachment of the reel for the release line to the anchor trolley. The orange is bungee cord to allow for waves and such.
This is the release line it has a slip knot here that I can pull in a hurry if I need too.
Here is just an idea for a live well or to hold big mullet or poggies down at the coast.
Here is the trip clip disengaged, you can see that now the pull will be on the bottom of the anchor to free it from a snag.
Here is a close up of the trip clip, the tension can be adjusted by sliding the cross bar up or down the clip.
