New to freshwater

Hi everyone. I found this site trying to learn more about freshwater fishing, specifically in the Fayetteville area. I've been stationed at Bragg since 2009 and am just getting into fishing here. Thus far, I've had absolutely zero luck with bass, but have done okay with the bream. So far I have only fished on post, mainly at Boundary Line Lake since it is very close to my house. I fish most weekends and enjoy fishing from my kayak. I hope to learn more about freshwater fishing in general and hope to get these bass figured out soon. Take care.
