Worms in Fish Empty Worms in Fish

I have been sitting around and thinking about getting out to try some to catch an Amberjack although I have always heard that they are poor tasting and are ridden with worms which makes them even more unappetizing. After a little research about these parasites, I have found that they are common in both Speckled trout and grouper. Additionally, it would seem that there fare many people who enjoy eating amberjack. I have attached a very interesting article about these worms.

I have been eating Amber jacks for years, without any ill effects. They do have worms , located mostly in the tail area. We have always cut that portion off. Any worms out side that area we just cut out. I have heard people say they wouldn't eat Amber Jacks ...oh well more for me.
