Took the kayak out to Mott Lake this morning.  The wind was pretty rough so I didn't stay too long.  Water temp was 69-71.  Not a bite.  I fished the banks mostly, nothing more than 5 ft deep.  On the way back, I was marking fish in the channels though.  Had I not already had my fill of the wind, I might have tied on a Carolina rig or something to throw at them.

Better luck next time.
