Great Crappie Day on Lake UpChruch!!!!!

Well I got my boat back from the shop on Thursday and had the itch to hit
the water this weekend! My first stop was Gus's bait shop for some small
minnows and red worms. I wanted to stay local and have wonder about the crappie
in Lake UpChruch. Well I am very glad I gave it a try! I put in at the pay ramp
around 8:30am and I caught my first UpChruch crappie at 8:42am! I had one of
the best crappie days in a long time! I am really looking forward to the next
time I get a chance to hit the water in hunt for some UpChruch Crappie! Here
are my pics!

Great job Hemi, wish I could have made it out with you . Glad to know Upchurch has good fishing. Have to put the yak in there sometime.

Way to put em in the boat Hemi. Some great crappie and bream fishing there also.

Tom i was finding them between 7 to 9 feet! They were all females full of eggs! I am going to try to get back out there some time this week or next.FAANangler wrote:Thanks for the report, Rob! How deep where you finding them?
