It won't be long!!

I'm finally starting to see light at the end of the tunnel and I'm beginning to feel like that I need to be crappie fishing. After, looking at the Jordan Lake water temps of 51 degrees, I realize that it won't be long before they'll headed into the creeks. Just replaced my cranking batttery and will take the boat over to be checked, tomorrow after that I'll be Jordan bound. Anyone planning crappie trips or been doing any lately?

I went out yesterday armed with a bucket of minnows and 4 bream busters with corks on my trusty 14 foot jonboat. I couldn't keep the small bass off the bait to catch a crappie. I kept a couple of bass for a fresh fish supper. A couple of hours later the winds kicked up and I left, the bite fell off. I still ended up catching about 8 bass, so it was still fun.
