Man Overboard!!! Empty Man Overboard!!!

Post  Backlash Sat Jun 16, 2012 8:23 pm

Every so often, we have a member who decides to conduct an impromptu man overboard drill and go into the water providing their fellow FAAN members with a bit of amusement and laughter. Chris Hall became that guy while kayaking for trash at the Lake Rim Clean-up. While trying to adjust his cushion for more comfort, Chris obviuosly forgot about the role that balance sometimes plays in the ability to effectively operate a kayak. For years, Chris has gone by the moniker, Snagged Again, as a testament to his own casting ability. In view of the recent demostration of his ability to submerge, we think that it's fitting that we should bestow a username on him more fitting of his talents. Therefore, this thread will be a contest to choose a screen nae for Chris. We ask that you submitt a suggestion for Chris's new name here. One name will be selected and the winning submission will receive a prize.

Thanks for being a good sport, Chris!

To be clear, I was testing a new autopilot feature of my kayak. And by autopilot, I mean the kayak decided it no longer needed me to paddle, so it promptly dumped me into the water and proceeded on its merry way....without me.

That's what we're hoping for. Let's go for a little word play such as Mr. Ima Floater.

Add a "T" to Chris and I would expect one to be able to walk on water. No "T", no walk on water.

Hey Snagged, just remind all those jesters that there are two kinds of yakkers: those that swim with their boats, and those that are waiting to!
