Water temps

Does anyone have a general idea of what some of the water temperatures are right about now? Either coastal waters down near Fort Fisher, or some of local freshwater holes?
I'm looking to start planning my first kayak trips of the season, but since I don't have waders and such, water temp is a primary factor.

Chris the water temps have been up above 56 for a while now. You don't need waders just get you a rain suit. All you really need to do is keep the water dripping from the paddle off your legs. I have been just using my rain pants, or just pants that are not cotton on days that it is not raining.

As luck would have it, the wife got tired of hiring me complain about cold water, she went out on payday and brought home some waders
