Unbelievable! Most of us have forgotten the controversy that took place during the 2010 Big Rock Tournament where, with a nearly $1 million prize on the line, the first place team was disqualified because not all members were properly licensed. In fact the team failed to attend the Capt.'s meeting and once they realized they had landed the potential tournament winning fish they then began to reveiw the rules and discovered that one member did not possess a valid license. Then, they proceeded to purchase a license using an onboard laptop, after the fact, for which the angler was cited by the NCDMF. What is truly amazing is that even though the angler violated NC state law, one appallate judge dissented by stated that this was not a serious violation of the tournament rules.

What are your thoughts?

All i can say is WOW! I cant believe they even have a case! if you cant play by the rules then they should not have the right to fight this in court. This kind of reminds me of the woman who sued McDonalds for hot coffee that burnt her. Like i said all i can say is WOW!
