Went out to Mott Lake after work yesterday as well as the day before, both times with no luck. Although there's a large group of Soldiers there that appear doing some sort of water filtration exercise and taking up alot of the premier launch spots (except for the boat ramp of course).

Anyway, I noticed the water temp yesterday was around 90-91, and it fairly consistent all around the north half of the lake. Is that abnormally warm? Not sure.

I've been having a real hard time figuring out how to fish the weeds on the north half, particularly now that the heat of summer is coming on. I've done alot of research on the web and I'm ready to try a couple things. But I'm always open to pointers!
